We want to build loyalty and interdependence between ourselves and our Partners. In return we offer a benefits package that will make our Partner’s business more efficient, professional, competitive and, by default, capable of growing in size and revenue.
To reward the loyalty of our Partners, we are also launching a Partner Programme Relationship Development Fund – this fund will grow and accrue as a result of Partner activity and will be solely allocated to Partners in relation to their commercial activities with us.
Partners will accrue Mitsubishi Electric co-marketing funds (Relationship Development Funds) as a 2% percentage of invoiced sales revenue with Mitsubishi Electric Direct and/or recognised sales channels. The funds will be available at the end of each 6 month qualifying period and must be spent within the following 6 month period. The qualifying periods run from April-September and October-March. Any unused Relationship Development Funds will not be carried over into the next 6 month qualifying period.
The Partner programme offers multiple benefits that are free of charge, plus there are many further opportunities for matched or discretionary funding. The Relationship Development Fund will incorporate activities that will be funded in the following ways:
The RDF fund can be used to fully fund Partner development activities such as training and acquiring additional Mitsubishi Electric Partner Programme technology (i.e. handhelds, commissioning tools for example).
The RDF will be matched 50:50 on activities approved by Mitsubishi Electric – such as local event sponsorship, advertising and website development.
The RDF may be used to pay for other activities, such as specific local direct marketing campaigns for example. Mitsubishi Electric will consider contribution funding on these on an individual basis.
