The Zen Series, which has already won plaudits for its style by securing an IF Product Design Award 2011, has been styled to complement modern contemporary commercial spaces. The wall-mounted air conditioning models seamlessly blend energy efficiency with sophisticated streamlined design to offer a stylish addition to anyone specifying a high end interior design.
The sleek and polished design of the Zen indoor unit has been built with chic elegance in mind and matches good looks with an A-rated energy saving performance.
“We knew when we were designing this stunning range that not only are looks and efficiency important, but the air conditioning needs to offer a whisper-quiet performance and this award is recognition for that approach,” explains Debbie Reeve, Marketing Manager for Mitsubishi Electric’s range of air conditioning products.
“It is so quiet that customers will find themselves checking to make sure it is on,” adds Reeve.
Zen units will deliver cooling capacities of between 2.5 and 5.0kW and heating capacities of between 3.2 and 5.8kW and come with an advanced ‘silent mode’ fan speed setting that provides ultra-silent operation as low as 21dB.
Three sizes are available in a luxurious high-gloss black, silver or white finish that resembles modern audio-visual equipment and contributes to the high-quality feel and looks, making it a welcome accent to any room décor.
The models offer COPs (Coefficient of Performance) of between 3.71 and 4.57 and can link to a choice of 13 different outdoor units to offer single or multiple connection.
“We have designed the Zen to work in a variety of output capabilities and installation patterns, making it an ideal match for any modern setting,” ends Reeve.
